UWMC’s Kidney Transplant Program has been awarded INTERLINK’s 2025 Chairman’s Award for Transplant Excellence as the top-performing kidney transplant program in the nation.
These awards assist highly qualified and meritorious trainees in their transition to assistant professors.
Nominated by their peers, the Exceptional Women in Medicine list recognizes Top Doctors who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, expertise and dedication in their respective fields.
Dr. William Couser passed away on Feb. 24. He served as head of the Division of Nephrology from 1982-2002.
