WHY UW?

Before I interviewed, my initial strong interest in the University of Washington Nephrology was its strength in the field from a long history of leaders and innovators, as well as the stunning landscape of Seattle. However, the community of people I met during my interview day sealed the deal. When Cary our program director gave his initial presentation, one of the first things he emphasized was that the Patients are the reason and the inspiration for our training. And this sentiment was reflected again and again throughout the day. Even with all of the accomplishments of the program over time, I love that what is emphasized is that we have a shared purpose in being our best for our patients. This is a special community, and I am so excited to be a part of the team!
