HOBBIES

Keeping a meticulously updated list of restaurants I’ve tried and want to try on Beli and Google Maps; crying over fancams of Jungkook from BTS; watching anime; reading the plot summaries for innumerable television shows and movies so I can be “in the know” without actually having to watch said content; collecting enamel pins; being chronically online

Why UW?

So much of my decision to pursue nephrology stems from my experience as a UW medical student rotating through my nephrology elective — While I obviously found the medicine fascinating, I was also incredibly inspired by the intellect, compassion, and enthusiasm for patient care and medical education demonstrated by the UW nephrologists I met while on that elective. As such, a large part of why I chose UW was because I wanted to continue working with and learning from the faculty that had modeled for me the exact type of physician and clinician educator I want to become. I also love the diversity of pathology and patient populations encountered through the multi-site hospital system, transplant program, and multidisciplinary inpatient services such as kidney-liver and kidney-heart. Lastly, I adore how Seattle boasts all the attractions of a large city while being perfectly situated in the verdant beauty of the Pacific Northwest. I’m beyond thrilled to return to UW for my nephrology training!
