Bio

Dr. Syeda Ahmad completed medical school at St. George’s University School of Medicine. She moved to Ohio for her residency training in internal medicine at Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital, followed by a nephrology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. She completed a one-year glomerular disease fellowship at Columbia University in New York City before beginning her academic career at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where she was an Assistant Professor and set up the inaugural Glomerular Disease Center that served patients from multiple states in the region and brought them the opportunity to participate in clinical trials of novel therapeutics for glomerular diseases.
