The series covers the core curriculum topics required for ACGME accreditation. The lectures are typically interactive and non-didactic.
Professor Rounds
Professor Rounds provides education involving common and challenging inpatient and outpatient clinical cases on general nephrology and transplantation.
Teaching Rounds
Teaching Rounds alternate between a fellow review for the resident and student, and an in-depth review done in conjunction with staff. Fellows present a case-based discussion of a pertinent medical subject, such as acute kidney failure, vascular access, hematuria, proteinuria, uremia, or other topics.
Transplant Grand Rounds
Transplant Grand Rounds provides a wide range of curricula pertinent to solid organ transplantation and allied fields and features experts from both the University of Washington and invited guest speakers.
Nephrology Grand Rounds
Our Nephrology Grand Rounds conference is a major component of the adult and pediatric nephrology teaching program and contains material for ongoing medical education. Topics cover basic science, clinical research, clinical-based discussions, kidney biopsy conferences, and more. Speaker presentations are given by experts from the University of Washington and invited guest speakers.

A multidisciplinary conference focusing on the etiology and treatment of immune-mediated kidney disease.
Kidney HLA Pathology Conference
This collaborative conference provides a forum to discuss common clinical and scientific interests, including AMR, non-HLA, and other immunologic-related kidney diseases. We review relevant clinical cases and literature.
Journal Club
Journal Club provides nephrology fellows the opportunity to develop and improve their ability to conduct a critical analysis of data reported in the clinical and basic science literature.
